Have you used Facebook Sync? http://fbsync.plan99.net/ It's currently disappeared but did this very well. I will have to try yours to see the difference.
Hey I coincidentally just tried this app yesterday, had no idea it was made by a gnome dev :)
I encountered a pseudo bug though -- when logging in to facebook first it asked me if I would give the app access to my friends and info (OK) but then it also asked me if it was OK for the app to be able to post things to my wall without confirming with me (definitely not OK and there's no reason the app should require this). I said no and the sync still appeared to work though.
@Antonio, it's up on code.google.com and code hosted on Github. Links are available from http://code.google.com/p/syncmypix
@Kevin, Yes, I read about that project. But, I think the author had to remove the app due to trademark infringement.
@Anonymous, I'm not a GNOME dev. Just a Google Summer of Code student. :) Thanks for pointing out that "pseudo bug." I'll see if I can disable that. It's a default for Facebook apps. Glad the sync worked for you. :)
Note, v0.1.5 was just released. There were some bugs. You will have to re-sync with "Skip non-SkipMyPix pictures" unchecked, unfortunately.
hi! great app, thanks :) question from a new wannabe android developer, what layout or view are you using in that last screenshot, to get a list of items separated by that gradient horizontal bar? :) thanks

Woah! great work!
I was going to do the same thing but using gravatar.com as the source for the pictures (and the email contacts to match that pictures).
Actually, there's some work done outside android using the google contacts api and gravatar api.
It'd be great to have that as a feature. Are you thinking on posting your app at code.google.com? If not... could you add this feature? :)
Regards,
Antonio

It looks like all apps ask if it's ok for it to post to your wall. It appears that you cant change it.

@Nuno, it doesn't actually look like that on the phone. Those shots were taken from the emulator.
